Beginning as a small mail order business called David L Jacobs Inc., Spyder has deep roots in the ski racing scene. The name Spyder came from a pair of Jacobs' race trousers featuring 8 thin protective strips combined with his love of a particular Ferrari sports car.
Spyder has been a long-time provider of the US and Canadian FIS teams clothing, using their expertise to help some of the best in the business maintain their record.
