Despite only being registered in 2008, PLUM bindings have had a history of mechanical engineering since 1994. Albert and Jean-Michael Felisaz became managers of the company and started working in in the machining industry. The first super light ski binding heel was manufactured in 2005 for a Haute Savoi mountaineering club.
Fast forward to today and the PLUM race binding is one of the lightest available and weighs only 270g, helping to gain 29 medals during the World Skimo Championship in 2013.
