Barts is a company which was started 17 years ago by a guy selling shorts on the beach in St. Tropez and he is still in charge of the business, maintaining the integrity of the brand and the workforce behind it. The main part of their business is winter sport and they aim to make products that work to keep out the cold but with style. Anything from fun hats to smart faux fur hats and economical gloves, socks and apres boots. In fact there's something in the range for everyone.

Respect the Mountains was initiated by Barts. Inspired by the ‘ocean awareness’ of the Surf Riders’ Association, Barts thought of a winter-ish alternative. The goal is to contribute to preserving nature and the environment in the Alps, to make people realise they can enjoy the mountains with respect, so that the next generation will.
