We started from the observation that the Lowtech, an essential element of our binding, could be subjected to external shocks that could damage its integrity.
We have observed lowtech breakage during transport by plane or during shipping by carrier. We found covers torn by the spikes and deterioration of the binding during transport. There is also a risk of damaging the binding by dropping these skis.
These remarks have been confirmed by other binding manufacturers.
