This new piece is a great addition whenever a Dynafit TLT Vertical FT is mounted on skis wider than 90mm at the waist. The Power Plate helps transfer maximum power to the ski, and helps spread that power over a larger area (width of transmission area increases over 30%). Increasing power transmission to the ski leads to better control.
