Norrøna's mission is “To make great products our way for people with an active lifestyle”. Norrøna was founded on April 29, 1929, and has since been owned and run by the same family. The foundation of their design philosophy: Loaded Minimalism. Take a look at their jackets and they look clean and simple, but look closer and the attention to detail is second to none. Take the sleeves for example, most jackets are cut with the arms down, Norrøna cuts theirs with the arms up, so when you raise your arms the bottom of the jacket doesn’t lift up.
