The Scott Celeste women's alpine ski touring boot successfully combines lightweight, with touring capability in a women's specific fit.
The Scott Celeste is a superb light weight 4 buckle Ski Mountaineering boot.
Light in weight, supportive and with one of the best fitting lasts that Garmont ever produced, the Celeste is an ideal choice for advanced Ski Mountaineers and Free Ride Tourers.
The Celeste weighs in at an impressive 2.9 Kg per pair (mondo 27), making it a true competitor to Scarpa's popular Maestrale. The shell is constructed from Grilamid, a slightly denser, more impact resistant and stiffer type of nylon compared with the Pebax nylon normally used in top spec touring boots.
The use of Grilamid allows Scott to make a stiffer plastic shell with out significantly increasing the weight. The stiffness of this boot means that it is suitable for both Ski Mountaineering and Free Riding.
The walk mode on the Celeste is superior to previous Garmont walk modes, offering a great range of cuff articulation when unlocked, making these boots very comfortable for skinning and walking around off the skis.
