TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Access and use of our Web site, together with the sale and the purchase of products from the site, are governed by the terms and conditions set out below.
By using the site you agree to accept the following terms and conditions. If you do not wish to accept these terms and conditions, you may choose not to use this site or contact us to ask for further information. A contract between Ski Bartlett and the customer will exist once an order has been accepted, processed, dispatched and received.
Skiing & mountain sports can be hazardous. Ski Bartlett advises that anyone participating in any of these sports should wear the correct protective equipment. It is the individual’s OWN responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with safe participation in these activities and to fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of the items sold, built or repaired by Ski Bartlett, its Directors, employees or other representatives.
Our Adverts and Web site descriptions, images and colours are subject to change and are for illustrative purposes only. In the event of a particular colour or variation not being available we will make every attempt to find a suitable alternative. Please note that many skis carry different colours/graphics depending on size.
Some of our web pages may use external links. In these cases we cannot be held responsible for the content of these external sites. Ski Bartlett does not endorse, warrant, or guarantee the products, services, or information described or offered on these Internet sites.
DESCRIPTION AND PRICE OF THE GOODS:
Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to alter prices and / or special offer details at our own discretion.
In addition to the price, you may be required to pay a delivery charge for the goods.
We set the same initial prices across the Ski Bartlett shop, adverts and internet. However, over time prices may vary due to special offers and promotions being run. From time to time we may alter the pricing online so that the prices are lower than in the current catalogue, adverts or in store. Unfortunately we cannot offer the same pricing in this instance in the store and over the phone.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER:
If you need to cancel your order before it's been sent out, please call 020 8848 0040 before 12.00pm on the day you order, or if you order after 6pm, call us before 12pm the following day.
If you are unhappy with your goods once they arrived you are entitled to return the goods for a refund or replacement. Please see our Returns policy for further info.
MAKING A PURCHASE:
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, or use Quick search to find what you need and add ('add to cart') any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'View Cart' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, Access, Switch, Solo, Delta and Visa Electron cards....And yes, we DO accept American Express.
We use an extremely secure 128bit sever, then process your order by hand and ship it out to your stated delivery address asap.
Please note that when purchasing heavy items, large items or a large group of items (i.e. Skis, Bindings, Boots, Combination Of Jackets & Trousers etc.)
Please make certain someone will be at your stated delivery address, Monday to Friday, between 9am - 6pm, otherwise the parcel company will put a delivery card through your door. After two delivery attempts your parcel will be returned to us, this will result in us contacting you and having to charge you a second delivery cost.
A confirmation of order will be sent to you via email, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING:
We sometimes offer FREE P&P on all* orders in the UK. (*sorry we cannot send skis/bindings/boots/large heavy items/large quantity of products, Free to the Highlands, Islands, Ireland, N. Ireland & Overseas Destinations)
However, this offer is not always current, therefore delivery costs will apply. The delivery costs are based on weight and are charged at our cost price.
We accept orders to the USA & Canada, but please contact us first to discuss delivery cost/methods, either via email (email@example.com) or telephone (+44 20 8848 0040).
Due to the nature of our business, stock availability cannot be guaranteed. If your goods are in stock the order will be shipped in order to reach you within *5 working days (*deliveries to Islands, Highlands, Ireland, N. Ireland & Overseas Destination may take longer.) Payment is not taken from your credit card until stock has been checked and the order is ready for shipping.
Orders will be shipped to reach you within 5 working days and must be signed for so please make sure there will be someone available at your delivery address. Orders received after 12pm will be processed on the next working day, (A working day is any day other than weekends and bank or other public holidays.) so long as all stock items are available.
The goods you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order.
If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your order, we shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods, less any expenses incurred for failed delivery.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible.
Upon receipt of your order you will be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If you are unable to check the contents of the package at that moment in time please sign for the parcel as 'UNCHECKED'. Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims that you make thereafter.
Our FREE service (If current) takes 3+ days to be delivered.
The First Class service takes 3-5+ days, but goods often arrive within 48hrs. Prices range between £0.95 & £25.00.
We also offer a 1 day Courier service in the UK. Prices range between £13.00 upwards.
Please note, any UK order that will travel overseas ie. to the highlands and Islands (postcodes listed below) will incur a £10.00 handling cost.

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.

The card issuers may provide the right for shopper to dispute a transaction if the goods/services did not arrive or if the card was used fraudulently.
Data stored on our system, can not be accessed by anyone other than the site administrator/shop manager. Your information is kept highly confidencial and secure to ensure safety for both the consumer and the retailer.
Ski Bartlett do not disclose buyers' information to second or third parties.
We may contact you occasionally via email to inform you of any new products or special offers at Ski Bartlett, this is the only situation in which your customer details will be used. We will pass on all the details (email, address, credit card number, etc) of any fraudulent orders to the relevant authority.

Before returning an item to us you must call us for a returns number. Items sent back without a returns number cannot be accepted.
Non-faulty items must be sent back unused and in their original packaging with labels and within 14 days of the invoice date including original receipt. Once received, we will offer an exchange or a full refund if required.
CD's, videos, games and DVD's will not be accepted unless they are returned sealed. Soiled/worn clothing will not be exchanged or refunded. Your statutory rights are not effected by these conditions.
You will be required to pay postage when returning your exchange items to us. Please note that postage costs are non-refundable. Products returned must be properly packaged and sent fully pre-paid to our address (above). When sending your return please obtain a CERTIFICATE OF POSTAGE from your Post office as you will have to produce it in case of a loss.
Label all returns to 'Ski Bartlett Returns Department'. You should also include your name, address, daytime telephone number, a copy of all invoice/receipts and a covering letter explaining why you are returning it AND what you would like us to do; refund or exchange? With any returns we reserve the right not to refund any item returned not in new condition or after the 14 day period.
All products from Ski Bartlett are guaranteed against manufacturing defects. Guarantees may vary depending on products & manufacturers.
If you think that your item is faulty then please contact us as soon as possible. All items will be inspected by ourselves and often by the Manufacturer before being deemed faulty. Once we are satisfied the goods are faulty, depending on the circumstances they may be repaired, replaced, exchanged or refunded.
If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery, you should notify us by phone within 7 days.
