Scott Race Carbon Slalom Pole

 Racing Series aluminium poles are constructed with the strongest commercially available, aircraft-grade alluminium alloy. All Race Series poles feature our Notch Strike Grip and are designed to meet the demands of racers from junior ranks all the way up to the World Cup.

The WC SL uses an 18mm 7075 aluminium shaft for maximum strength, meaning it can endure the knocks and bangs of the racecourse, but it still feels light and subtle. The Notch Strike handle and Strike RC strap combine to offer the best in comfort, the Race basket minimises resistance, and the Race tip bites into even the hardest snow yet is tough enough to withstand serious abuse. Conforms to Alpine World Cup standards but would make the ideal choice for any skier looking for a tough, durable pole that lasts.

Scott used wind tunnel technology to design the Aero SG Baskets on the World Cup SL poles,minimize drag. Scott's Composite Carbon shafts mean the pole is ultra light aswell as being tough and durable. Beneath it all is a lightweight, diamond-shaped ice tip for exceptional hold in slick conditions.

Technology:

• The Aero SG Basket is designed to minimize drag and wind resistance when racing. This basket is featured on our GS/SL race poles.

• The Notch Strike Grip has been anatomically engineered using soft thermoplastic rubber and polypropylene. The lightweight, streamlined profile facilitates the wrist articulation necessary for a textbook downhill tuck.

• The Tip Adapter, found in the Composite Series, increases the strength of the Ice Tip.

• The Ice Tip is diamond shaped for unbeatable hold in extreme conditions.
