The Peak 42 comes along not only with the full equipment with the best Ortovox features, but can be carried very easily and has multi-functional use. It is suitable for all sports, both winter and summer, which is why it has become the absolute best seller in its class. The backpack can be filled classically from the top or by opening the side. In the front there is a compartment for safety equipment (shovel and probe), which allows immediate access in an emergency. Picks or sticks can be attached on the front, and additional gear can be fastened by the elastic bands on the cover. Ortovox use the O-Flex back system to distribute the load as evenly as possible between the hip bone and shoulders. This system was developed by the sports physicians at the Center for the Back in Munich (Rückzentrum München) and is used in all major Ortovox backpacks. Safety compartment
Red zip puller mark the safety compartment. It opens in seconds and includes fasteners for the shovel scoop, shaft and the probe.
Side access to main compartment

O-Flex Frame
