If you don't already know us, Ski Bartlett is a busy independent Ski shop on the Uxbridge Road, (A4020) Hillingdon, West London. We sell everything you could imagine for skiing, but two of our main specialist areas are race and freeski equipment and clothing. Our main business focus is on customer service, friendliness and honest advice. We're looking for someone with a passion for winter sports, who is good at talking to people and would enjoy offering good service and advice.

The following job opportunities are currently available -

FULL-TIME SHOP SALES STAFF

The job would include retail sales, boot fitting, ski sales, telephone enquiries, mail orders - from taking the order to packing it. Goods inwards, pricing, merchandising etc. We would like to employ someone with previous snowsports sales experience but are willing to train a suitable person. The most important thing is personality, and the ability to work as part of a team and at times under pressure! We're busy all year round...retail work means you would be on your feet a lot, so plenty of stamina will be needed! Age for the job is immaterial but we are looking for someone reliable and conscientious.

The successful person should be articulate, with a good clear telephone manner as we have a lot of phone enquiries.
You would need the ability to take on responsibilities and to follow complicated sales to a successful conclusion without supervision.
Ski Bartlett works as a team, with everyone pitching in with everything that needs doing and we would expect all staff to do the same.

We are open 6 days a week in the summer and you would work 5 days a week for this period. We are open 7 days a week in the winter from the end of November to the end of March and you would work 6 days a week during this period. Our opening hours are 9.30 to 5.30 Monday to Saturday and from 11.00 to 4.00 on Sundays during the winter opening period. The shop is situated in Hillingdon on the Uxbridge Road, (A4020) UB10 0NP.
