 This World Cup Version of Dynastar’s Omeglass Slaolm ski with Race Dept Plate is ideal for the extremely aggressive and competent racer.

The Omeglass World Cup is an excellent performer and even though the Omeglass hasn't appeared to change too much over the years the performance has always improved.

However, this newer model seems more direct than the outgoing Omeglass. As is the current trend the ski works stronger down the fall-line and allows the slalom skier to be more acute in their angles. Lightening quick from edge-to-edge and smooth with it, this is a ski for instructors or experts who love short, thigh-burning turns and precise, rock-solid edge control.

The Omeglass World Cup floats down the piste as opposed to many of the more Germanic models, which although they can feel more "planted" often also feel a little less agile and immovable. Therefore being an excellent pair of skis.

This ski is at the stiffer end of the slalom skis currently available and you have to dominate it if you are not going to be thrown around and out of the courses. If you can it’s truly excellent, if you can’t, or have doubts that you’ll be able to, then best choose something else.
